What we’re looking for:

As our new Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions across CMap’s platform. You’ll take ownership of complex engineering challenges, contribute to architectural decisions, and help drive best practices across the development team - all while mentoring others and supporting a culture of technical excellence.

You will:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions across the CMap platform
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the long-term direction of our platform
• Champion best practices in coding, testing, and documentation across the team
• Take ownership of key features or systems, seeing them through from concept to delivery
• Review code, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and production issues
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration

What you will need to succeed:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Product and QA
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment
