About the Role

As a Solution Architect you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You'll collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to craft compelling technical narratives, design scalable architectures, and support strategic engagements across global markets.

What You Will Be Doing

Engage with clients to understand their business and technical requirements, aligning them with FIS Core Banking and Payments solutions.
Deliver impactful product demonstrations, technical presentations, and architectural deep-dives.
Lead or contribute to RFI/RFP responses, addressing integration, security, compliance, and scalability.
Collaborate with Product Management and Functional Pre-Sales to design tailored solutions.
Develop and maintain pre-sales assets and support internal enablement on product capabilities.
Plan and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate solution fit and feasibility.
Facilitate Project Definition Studies (PDS) through workshops, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

What You Bring

Strong understanding of core banking systems or payment solutions
Experience with modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Kafka, REST APIs, OIDC, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., MQ) and observability tools like Splunk.
Proven experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting roles.
Ability to deliver clear, engaging presentations to both technical and business audiences.
Skilled in responding to complex RFI/RFPs and documenting client requirements.
Experience contributing to large-scale solution designs and enterprise proposals.
