Job Description

Senior Solutions Engineer (Networking)

Role Overview

A senior hands-on engineer responsible for delivering, leading, and supporting enterprise networking and infrastructure solutions, with occasional involvement in pre-sales and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery (Primary)

Install, configure, test, and commission customer solutions

Deliver projects on-site and remotely, including international travel

Lead and support engineering teams during deployments

Work closely with Project Managers and Solutions Architects to plan and deliver projects

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers

Complete all delivery documentation, tickets, and system updates

Pre-Sales (Occasional)

Support pre-sales activities including technical presentations, RFIs, and SoWs

Assist in designing networking, compute, and storage solutions

Produce Bills of Materials and Low-Level Designs

Deliver customer and partner solution demonstrations

Professional & Managed Services

Own assigned customer projects end-to-end

Define project scope and produce high-quality customer documentation

Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on enterprise networking experience

Experience with HPE, Juniper, Aruba, Cisco technologies

Working knowledge of compute and storage platforms ( HPE, Dell, Pure )

CLI and/or orchestration platform experience (e.g. Juniper Mist )

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Certifications

HPE ASE – Networking (required)

Juniper JNCIS or equivalent ()

Additional networking certifications (desirable)

Attributes

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities

Willing to travel nationally and internationally

Valid UK passport
