Your Role as Senior Sous Chef
As Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal leadership role within our kitchen, working closely with the Executive Head Chef to drive standards, performance, and innovation across all food offerings.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and service delivery. Acting as a key leader, you will inspire, develop, and support the brigade while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
What Youll Do
Support the Executive Head Chef in leading all kitchen operations across multiple outlets and events
Take full responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Head Chef
Drive consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes and service periods
Lead, coach, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a high-performance culture
Ensure effective stock control, ordering, and cost management to meet financial targets
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
Contribute to menu development, seasonal changes, and innovative dining concepts
Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
What Were Looking For
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a high-volume, quality-led environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
A passion for fresh, seasonal food and delivering exceptional culinary standards
Commercial awareness with experience managing costs, GP, and kitchen performance
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
