Senior Transport Planner

Role & Responsibilities

Produce transport assessments, travel plans and technical reports

Support feasibility studies and wider masterplanning work

Analyse transport and traffic data to inform design and policy

Liaise confidently with clients, local authorities and stakeholders

Support senior colleagues on major projects

Manage smaller assignments independently

Contribute to sustainable transport and active travel strategies

Skills & Experience Required

Experience as a Transport Planner within consultancy

Strong understanding of transport modelling and assessment tools

Ability to interpret and apply planning and transport policy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confident client liaison and collaborative working

Membership of a relevant professional body (or working towards)
