Senior VAT Manager or Associate Director Staverton (Hybrid) An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced VAT specialist to join a leading professional services firm in the Southwest. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, delivering practical VAT advice and supporting a wide range of middle‑market advisory projects. This role offers a collaborative environment, genuine work‑life balance, and opportunities for progression within a growing business. We are seeking an experienced VAT professional, from VAT Manager to VAT Associate Director level, with CTA (or equivalent) and strong advisory experience. Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, delivering exceptional service. Provide clear, practical VAT advice to help clients navigate complex tax issues. Manage the delivery of VAT projects, ensuring both technical accuracy and commercial value. Communicate complex matters in a concise and accessible way. Contribute to a wide variety of advisory projects across multiple sectors. Support business development by maintaining trusted client relationships.
Key Requirements:
CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical VAT expertise. Broad experience across a range of VAT sectors and advisory work. Proven ability to deliver detailed, risk‑focused VAT due diligence reviews. Experienced in managing a portfolio of clients independently. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Commercially minded, with the ability to deliver solutions‑driven advice.
