Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician required to join a leading compressed air distributor and service provider.\n\nThe Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands and surrounding areas.\n\nThe Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment.\n\nService Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician Package\n\n£35,000-£40,000 depending on experience\nCompany van and fuel card\nCompany card for expenses\nOvertime paid at 1.5x, or 2x on Sundays\nPhone and laptop provided\nCompany pension\nAdditional benefitService Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician Role\n\nTo provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.\nThe Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.\nMaintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across the Midlands and surrounding areas.\nPerform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.\nLiaise with various engineering departments.Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician Requirements\n\nProven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.\nExperience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.\nThe ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.\nGood working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.\nField servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, rotating equipment, capital equipment is advantageous. Full product training provided.\nA technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous
