We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Agricultural Service Technician to join our established team at our Ringmer branch in East Sussex . What you’ll be doing: Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will: Carry out repairs and maintenance on a wide range of agricultural machinery Diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic software Complete chargeable, warranty, and internal repair jobs with precision Provide excellent customer service in this customer-facing role Work closely with manufacturers and benefit from ongoing training and support Collaborate with an experienced team while also working independently when required What we’re looking for: Proven experience working with agricultural or horticultural machinery Strong diagnostic skills (hydraulic, electrical, software-based) Ability to handle heavy machinery safely and responsibly Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance Good general fitness Full, clean driving licence Joining Ernest Doe gives you access to industry-leading manufacturers , ongoing training, and support from a knowledgeable team of professionals Additional Information: Location: Ringmer, Sussex BN8 5NN Hours: 39hrs per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hr unpaid lunch) Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39hrs.
