CNC Setter 9 month contract Do you have experience with CAD/CAM software? As the CNC Setter, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. CNC setter and operators for either Turning or Milling machines Responsible for accurately setting up and operating multi axis CNC milling and turning machines in a high volume, precision shop Collaborate with engineering and Quality teams to continually improve processes and ensure the highest quality standards Configure machine parameters (feeds, speeds, tool offsets, coolant, etc.) Proficient in Fanuc and Heidenhain control languages and post processing Work with engineering to develop and refine machining strategies for high value production parts Identify and implement improvements in tool selection, tooling layouts, and machining cycles Familiarity with MRP/ERP production planning systems and general workshop practices Demonstrated ability to operate and set up both CNC milling and CNC turning machines Capable of interpreting 3 to 5 axis toolpaths generated from CAD/CAM systems such as Edgecam, MasterCAM, Fusion 360, and similar platforms CNC Setter 9 month contract ARM is a specialist talent acquisition and management consultancy.
