Our client in Preston is looking to recruit a Sewing Machinist for an ongoing role out of their manufacturing and distribution site.The role will involve:Using various sewing machines, mainly overlockProducing garmentsChecking work orders to determine amount of material neededFollowing drawings and designsMeasure and cutting of materialsHousekeeping and machine maintenanceThe working times and pay:Monday to Friday08:00-16:30 and 07:30-12:30 on Fridays39 hours per week after breaks£12.71 p/h initiallyPermanent roleSkills/Experience Needed:Previous Sewing machine experience with Overlock essentialWorked in the same industry recently or within the last 3 yearsAbility to read designs, measure materials and cut where neededIf you are interested in this role please apply with an updated CV.
