An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management service provider, working within a modern, state-of-the-art building in Cambridge.

The Role Overview

As the Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance across the building. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights), you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of all electrical and associated building systems.

What youll do:

Carry out PPMs on electrical and building services systems

Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues

Perform fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems

Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations

Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

What youll bring to the role:

Recognised electrical qualifications

Experience in commercial building maintenance

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively within a shift team environment

Good understanding of compliance and safe systems of work
