Salary: £56,000 + excellent package (dependent on experience) Shift Pattern: Continental Shift - Days & Nights

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical bias) to join a well-established and highly reputable FM provider, working on a prestigious data centre in Welwyn Garden City.

Key Responsibilities

Working as part of a dedicated on-site engineering team Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance Managing PPM schedules, logbooks, and statutory compliance Ensuring critical systems are maintained to a high standard in a data centre environment PPM tasks to include (but not limited to): Emergency lighting Fire alarm systems General lighting AHUs & FCUs Plant room inspections Associated building services equipmentRequirements

Mechanical or Electrical qualifications (Level 3 essential):

NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations, Mechanical Engineering, or Plumbing OR City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations, Mechanical Engineering, or PlumbingElectrical bias only:

18th Edition (essential) 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)Ideal Candidate

Mechanical or Electrical bias with a strong building services background Comfortable working in a critical environment (data centre experience advantageous) Client-facing and professional in approach Well-organised with strong compliance awareness Experience on healthcare or critical-site contracts is beneficial but not essential
