Shift Engineer - Building Services

?? Canary Wharf, London ?? Up to £50,000 per annum ?? Days & Nights (Continental Shift)
We are recruiting an experienced Shift Engineer for a critical commercial site in Canary Wharf . The role involves carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, and fault-finding across Mechanical & Electrical building services.

Key Duties

PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems

Fault finding on HVAC, UPS, generators, and LV electrical systems

Use of BMS and alarm systems to monitor building performance

Respond to breakdowns and ensure plant is returned to service quickly

Supervise subcontractors and operate Permit to Work / LOTO systems

Ensure H&S compliance, paperwork completion, and CMMS updates

Maintain plant rooms and professional site standards

Requirements

Experience in a Shift Engineer or M&E Engineer role

Strong fault-finding skills

City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ (or equivalent)

Experience in commercial or critical environments

Package

Salary up to £50,000
