Shop Manager - March

Overview Our shops play a vital role in raising the essential funds for our Charity, we are currently looking for a Shop Manager to join our shop in March, Cambridgeshire. This is a part time role, working 22.5 hours per week. Each shop is its own little treasure trove and unique community hub, with our brilliant shop staff and volunteers keeping donations sorted, tidied and flying off the shelves. Responsibilities
Run the shop, manage turnover and profitability while promoting and enhancing the image of our charity to all customers. Ensure the security of the shop premises, its staff, volunteers and stock, making arrangements for opening and locking up at either end of the trading day. Manage the shop, maintain its performance in a busy retail setting, drive income, motivate the team through regular communication and engagement. Work on a rota basis over 7 days which will include weekend working.
Qualifications
Good general education with excellent verbal, numerical and written skills. Previous experience of working in a similar retail environment with leadership / management experience. Physical capability for manual handling and occasional lone working.
Benefits Starting salary of £25,760, with opportunities to progress to £27,476. Salary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro‑rated for part time posts. As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role.
