This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative simulation projects that integrate real products, models, and synthetic environments to support visualisation, demonstrations, verification, validation, and training.As Simulation Project Lead, you will guide a multi-disciplinary engineering team in delivering simulation components for advanced defence systems. You'll work with cutting-edge visualisation tools, IEEE and military standards, and agile methodologies to produce realistic and functional simulation environments.These can include:Demonstrators - system representations for evaluation and communicationSystem Simulators - operator-in-the-loop environments for realistic testingEmulators - early-stage system representations for integration and proofingTraining Simulators - for both operational and maintenance purposesExperimentation Platforms - enabling performance assessment in context and system-of-systems testingKey ResponsibilitiesLead delivery and development of simulation solutions across the full project lifecycleBalance technical innovation with business cost and operational constraintsOversee the creation of real-time software and hardware integrations to represent complex systemsManage project scope, requirements, and changes using agile principlesIdentify, manage, and mitigate project risksAct as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For We welcome candidates with a track record in delivering innovative software and/or hardware solutions for simulated or synthetic environments.
