Experience: Must have a very good knowledge of STW infrastructures, Highway working, Avoiding underground utilities, and all-round site safety.The scheme is to install a approx. 2000m of 355mm rising main across fields and through urban roads inc washouts & air valves plus MIECA components also to be installed within STW existing treatment works.Candidate must be able to:- Generate good quality CPP's RAMS, ITP's, SOSB, TBT & Programmes.- Brief teams on the above information.- Undergo regular safety audits with Forkers SHEQ teams and STW Health & Safety department.- Commute to/from site within 1 hour.Requirements.o Preferred engineering background HNC / HND Civil Engineering.o CSCS -Black card (NVQ level 6)o SMSTS: 5 days (Must)o First Aid : Full 3 Day Course (Must)o NRSWA - Supervisor - (Must)o Temporary Works Co-ordinator (Advantage)o Confined Space Training - (Advantage)o Lifting Appointed persons (Advantage)o Practicable Environmental Management - (Advantage)Roles & Responsibilities? Planning, programming and resourcing.? Contract Budget and target programme - preparation and monitoring.? Site Cost Control.? Construction of the works to specified quality standards.? Health & Safety and Environmental compliance and best practice.? Compliance with contract particulars.? Management of site staff, sub-contractors and operatives.? Liaison with the Engineer's Representative, Project Manager or Supervisor.? Efficient utilisation and use of resources in carrying out your duties.?
