Job Description
nexos have an opening for an HSE Advisor for a site based role in Sullom Voe Terminal. This role will be a 2 on/2 off rotation
The HSE Advisor is responsible for promoting and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations on oil and gas operations. This role supports a safe working environment through proactive hazard identification, training, inspections, and incident management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, company policies, and site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
Support the implementation of HSE Management Systems
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and job-specific training to staff and contractors.
Participate in incident investigations; prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure emergency response plans are in place, communicated, and tested regularly.
Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and spill prevention.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, and stakeholders regarding HSE matters.
Review and input into workpack HIRA’s
Required Certification;
Emergency First Aid
Confined Space Entry
