Your new company You'll be joining a well-established and reputable main contractor with a strong presence across Edinburgh, known for delivering high-quality commercial projects. With a growing pipeline of work in the central belt, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a 2 million shell and core development in the heart of Edinburgh.

Your new role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics in a busy city centre environment, and liaise closely with the project team and client representatives. This is a high-profile project requiring strong leadership and attention to detail.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience managing shell and core or structural build projects, ideally in tight urban environments SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to manage programmes, site teams, and subcontractors effectively A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to health and safety
