We are currently searching for a Site Manager who is experienced in delivering new build residential projects as a site lead. The project is brownfield redevelopment and is currently at foundations stage. Once completed, this scheme will have delivered two semi-detached houses.
The scope is for this Site Manager to come in at Timber Frame stage and see it through to handover.
The Role:
* Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant, and materials on site
* Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Plan and monitor construction programmes, sequencing works to meet deadlines
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues
* Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, RAMS, and building regulations
* Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity, implementing corrective actions where required
* Maintain accurate site records, reports, and site documentation
Experience Required:
* Proven experience managing residential new build projects from cradle to grave.
* Experience with timber frame construction is beneficial but not essential.
* Solid experience in both internal and external packages.
* Applicant must hold SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator.
