Site Manager – Holiday Cover (1 Week)

Purpose of Role:
To manage the day-to-day running of the construction site during holiday cover, ensuring work is carried out safely, on programme, and to a good standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Open and close the site each day

*

Supervise subcontractors and site operatives

*

Ensure health & safety procedures are followed

*

Carry out daily site checks and briefings

*

Coordinate deliveries and materials

*

Monitor progress against the programme

*

Maintain site records (diary, permits, inductions)

*

Report any issues, delays, or incidents to senior management

*

Keep the site secure and tidy

Requirements:

*

Previous site management experience

*

Good understanding of health & safety on construction sites

*

Ability to manage trades and communicate clearly

*

SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS
