JE156: Site Manager \n\nLocation: Liverpool, Merseyside Region\n\nSalary: £55,000 Per Annum\n\nOverview:\n\nFirst Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Manager on behalf of one of our clients.\n\nOur client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nOverall responsibility for the successful delivery of various projects in the Civils and Water sectors\nDeliver the work to the specified quality without defects\nWhen required, lead a teams of Sub Agents, Engineers and Foreman to deliver the work safely without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality.\nEnsure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP’s plus other Safe Systems of Works, when specified, in line with Company procedures\nEnsure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised\nProduce and manage the project construction programme as well as producing 4 weekly look ahead programmes.\nProduce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasks\nUndertake an ambassadorial role representing the business to customers, public and official bodies\nDeliver end product to customer requirements and satisfaction\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\nConsiderable experience in Civil Engineering/ Water, Utilities and FRC works as a Site Agent for a contractor, delivering projects in a highly regulated environment.\nWorking knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting\nDegree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent\nGood knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering\nExperience managing subcontractors value greater than £1m\nExperience in producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for task specific activities\nExperience in producing look ahead programmes, implementing and analysing\nKnowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract\nCSCS (Site Manager)\nSMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely\nExcellent communication, people, and team management skills\nAbility to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion\nAbility to demonstrate the right behaviours and motivate and lead the team in line with the Company culture, ensuring high standards of compliance\nProficient in using Microsoft including Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nCompany benefits\n\n5% Company pension contribution\nLife Assurance at 2 x notional salary\nSingle person’s private medical cover\nPermanent Health Cover\nCompany Profit Share Scheme\nCompany car / or car allowance (Dependent on position)\nCareer Development and ongoing training\nStaff Referral Scheme\n25 days annual leave with additional loyalty days (Full-Time equivalent)\nVolunteering Scheme\nEnvironmental and Social Value initiatives\nLocation: Liverpool, Merseyside Region\n\nSalary: £55,000 Per annum
