Site Manager – Roofing & External Planned Maintenance (Social Housing) Gravesham, Kent | £250- £270 per day | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing contractor delivering external planned maintenance works within the social housing sector.
This role will involve managing roofing renewal projects across low- to mid-rise street properties and tower blocks in the Gravesham area. The contractor is looking for someone hands-on, organised, and confident in leading teams on busy sites.
You’ll be responsible for managing subcontractors and direct operatives, ensuring the project runs smoothly and safely. Day-to-day, you'll carry out inspections, manage quality and compliance, and liaise with RLOs and office-based staff to keep everything on track. A key part of the role is ensuring work is delivered to specification, on time, and in line with health and safety standards.
To be considered, you’ll need experience in planned maintenance (ideally within social housing), and hold up-to-date certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness.
This is a freelance position with the opportunity for a permanent position paying up to £250 per day, with an immediate start. For the right person, there is also the potential for long-term work or even a permanent opportunity with training and development.
