Site Manager – Social Housing (Externals) – East London (E10 / E17)
Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + Fully Expensed Fuel Card

We are working with a well-known and highly respected social housing construction contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team on the L&Q framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable business delivering essential refurbishment works across East London, specifically within the E10 and E17 postcodes.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for delivering external refurbishment works across scattered properties and low-rise blocks. Projects will primarily involve:

* Roof replacements

* Window replacements

* External upgrades within occupied social housing stock

You’ll be managing multiple sites, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard, while maintaining strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple locations

* Manage subcontractors and site teams

* Ensure health & safety compliance at all times

* Coordinate works in occupied properties with minimal disruption

* Monitor programme and drive delivery to deadlines

* Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams

* Maintain high quality standards and reporting

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing refurbishment

* Strong background in external works (roofing and/or window replacement)

* Experience working on frameworks

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid

* Must have own vehicle

Package

* Salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience)

* Car allowance

* Fully expensed fuel card

* Long-term, stable work with a respected contractor
