Site Manager – Social Housing (Roofing)

Essex £55,000 Package Permanent 6 Positions Available

We are currently working with a well-established Social Housing contractor who has secured a long-term roofing programme across Essex. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint six Site Managers to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with secured funding, long-term frameworks, and a consistent flow of planned works projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing roofing replacement and refurbishment works across occupied social housing properties. Projects will be delivered in live environments, so strong organisation and resident-focused communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day site operations on roofing programmes Supervising subcontractors and direct labour Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Maintaining high quality and compliance standards Liaising with residents, RLOs, and client representatives Managing site paperwork, RAMS, and health & safety documentationRequirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing Strong background delivering roofing or external planned works SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold preferred), and First Aid Experience working in occupied properties Full UK driving licenceWhat’s on Offer:
