Freelance Site Manager – Office Fit Out

Location: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire
Contract: Freelance
Duration: 3 Months
Start: Immediate / ASAP
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a commercial office fit-out project in Uttoxeter on a 3-month contract.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Full day-to-day management of the office fit-out project

*

Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and site operatives

*

Managing the programme and ensuring deadlines are met

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations at all times

*

Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections

*

Managing quality control, snagging, and handover

*

Liaising with the client, consultants, and project team

*

Maintaining accurate site records and progress reports

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing commercial or office fit-out projects

*

Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance

*

SMSTS

*

First Aid at Work

*

Valid CSCS card

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to work independently and manage short-term programmes

Desirable:

*

Experience delivering fast-track fit-out projects

*

Local to Uttoxeter or able to commute reliably

This is a great opportunity for a freelance Site Manager looking for a fixed 3-month contract on a well-defined commercial project.
