SRE Contractor – £600/day (Inside IR35) | AWS | London


I’m working with a well-known, consumer-facing digital platform scaling out its engineering team, looking to bring in 2x strong SRE contractors to support a key phase of delivery.


This is a high-impact environment - you’ll join a tight-knit team and help drive a shift towards automation-first infrastructure, reducing manual overhead and improving reliability at scale.


Key Info

  • £600/day (INSIDE IR35)
  • 6 month initial
  • Headcount: 2
  • 2-stage process (quick turnaround)
  • Hybrid - London
  • Mid-May / ASAP start


The Role

Joining an 11-person SRE team within a broader global setup, focused on AWS infrastructure - maintaining platform reliability while driving automation across the estate.


️ Tech / Environment

  • AWS (core focus)
  • Terraform & Ansible
  • Python (preferred) / Bash
  • Linux environments
  • Strong focus on automation + reducing manual processes


What they’re looking for

  • Solid SRE / DevOps experience in AWS environments
  • Strong scripting (Python ideally)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible)
  • Linux-first mindset
  • Engineers who can own problems and drive improvements, not just maintain
