Our client is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team at a well-established practice in Dudley, West Midlands. This role will primarily be based at their main site but may require occasional cover at nearby branches. About The Role : Permanent, full-time, and part-time applicants welcomed (minimum 35 hours per week). Hours: Full-time would be 40 hours per week. Includes a 1:10 full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and 1:5 Saturdays, with time back in lieu. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas of veterinary care, including consultations, surgery, and dentistry. The practice offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development, with support available for those pursuing or holding certificates. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality veterinary care to small animals. Working collaboratively with a team of experienced veterinary professionals, including certificate holders and nurses. Providing exceptional client care and maintaining strong client relationships. Salary : Up to £65,000 per annum, reflective of skills, experience, and hours agreed. The team comprises 16 veterinary surgeons, including 7 certificate holders, with specialisms in cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, including CT, a fully equipped dental suite, and 12 operating theatres. The practice also has a dedicated night team, ensuring 24/7 care for patients. With a spacious and comfortable break room, the environment promotes both professional and personal well-being.
