We deliver design and development, application engineering, prototype manufacture,repairand consultancy at any stage in thelife-cycleof a system or product. We design,manufactureand supply a range of products for the needs of the world-wide railway signalling,telecommunicationsand industrial control system industry. As a signalling consultancy, we are unique in the product knowledge that we hold. Thisknow-howis current,relevantand easily transferable to all types of fail-safe control systems and products.
We are now recruiting for a Firmware/Software Tester to join our team in Stockport. This role will primarilybe responsible forthe planning and execution of test activities, as required, to assure the high quality of our ongoing projects. Where necessary, you will also help develop requirements and technical documentation for railway signalling products. You will have an opportunity to work in many areas of the systems life cycle, expanding your capability in many new,diverseand exciting projects.
Key responsibilities of the role include:

Candidates must be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an electrical engineering related subject (i.e. computer science/software engineering/electrical engineering) and be able to discuss their prior experiences. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative are also essential.Previousexperience of working in the Railway Industry would be an advantage.
