Job Description

Solar Installer/Roofer

Location: London & South East England

Salary: Competitive

These positions are offered either as a contractor or permanent basis, and are not available on a self-employed basis.

Are you an experienced Installer/Roofer with an interest in renewable energy? We are seeking reliable and skilled workers to work on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across various projects.

General Responsibilities

Assemble and install solar panels, mounting structures, and associated components on roofs or other surfaces

Prepare roofs and surfaces for installation, ensuring safety and structural integrity

Work safely at height, following health & safety procedures and fall protection requirements

Collaborate with electricians to ensure correct positioning and secure installation of systems

Keep tools, equipment, and installation records organised and up to date

Requirements

Proven experience in installation/roofing

Full valid driving licence and willing to travel

CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Relevant certifications would be beneficial

Experience installing solar PV systems would be beneficial
