Job Description

Solution Architect - Oracle Retail (RMS/ReSA/Replen/Allocation/RPAS Planning)

A major global consultancy is expanding its Oracle Retail architecture practice and is seeking a contract Solution Architect with hands-on experience across the Oracle Retail product suite. You'll work with Tier-1 retailers on large-scale transformation programmes covering merchandising, planning, stock operations and supply chain.

You'll Lead Architecture Across:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS)

ReSA (Sales Audit)

Replenishment & Allocation

RPAS/RPAS-CE Planning

Inventory, stock operations and item foundations

Integrations across PoS, eCommerce, supply chain, warehousing and finance

What You'll Do:

Own end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Retail implementations

Define integration patterns, data flows and functional architecture

Work closely with client stakeholders to shape roadmap and design decisions

Provide architectural governance across delivery teams

Work on a hybrid basis: 1-2 days per week in Reading, the rest remote

What You'll Bring:

Strong experience with Oracle Retail applications (RMS, ReSA, Replen, Allocation, RPAS or similar)

Solid understanding of retail processes: item life cycle, stock, pricing, promotions, planning, fulfilment

Experience designing large-scale, multi-system retail architectures

Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman or equivalent frameworks

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

£600-£650 per day (Inside IR35). 6 months rolling. Reading & remote
