The Role We’re seeking a confident and charismatic Sommelier to join the vibrant front of house team at The Roof Gardens. As a warm and professional presence, you’ll become a familiar face to our members, ensuring their experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable from beginning to end. Key Responsibilities: Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Sommelier in the luxury hospitality market WSET qualification or equivalent industry certification Ensure daily wine service operations are carried out including stock management, table service, cleaning, and opening and closing duties Provide personalised wine recommendations to members and guests to elevate their dining experience Greet and engage members and guests warmly, creating a memorable first impression Maintain a deep passion for wine coupled with the desire to continue expanding your knowledge Support the Head Sommelier in curating and managing a wine list that reflects The Roof Gardens’ commitment to excellence Assist in designing and delivering wine training programmes for F&B, FOH, and Events teams to enhance product knowledge and drive sales Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends Our Benefits Competitive salary above market rate
