This is a unique role where you will be managing with the Head Chef to oversee a casual fine dining restaurant, working with a team of qualified chefs while training upcoming chefs to get their NVQ 1 certifications. This role requires someone with a lot of patience, a real passion for teaching and training and a genuine desire to give back to the community. Offering a great work life balance, you will work 5 straight shifts, 39 hours a week, predominantly daytimes, with every Saturday guaranteed off. All overtime is paid. You will need a background in fine dining, with formal training as a chef to at least NVQ level 2 and have experience at Sous Chef level. You should have a strong understanding of classic cookery, food costing and budgeting and kitchen management. The company will pay for your training to become a qualified NVQ assessor. You will need to pass an enhanced DBS check.
