SOUS CHEF We have an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the team here at The Clove Club. Youll join the kitchen at The Clove Club, a fine dining restaurant set in the historic rooms of the Grade II-listed Shoreditch Town Hall, London. Awarded two Michelin stars and listed in the World's 50 Best Restaurants. Led by Chef-Patron Isaac McHale and Head Chef Rhys Lebreux, it has a seasonal tasting menu featuring modern, elegant dishes rooted in technique but stripped back to their essential elements. We place a great emphasis on sourcing the very best produce the British Isles have to offer, and teach you the best ways to prepare and cook them. Youll be part of a small team of talented chefs and will learn invaluable skills in whole animal butchery, shellfish and fish preparation, stocks and sauces, as well as baking and patisserie and chocolate work. Confidence in running your section - you are capable and responsible and work with care
Capable in fish filleting and butchery and more - and able to teach others
Precision and cleanliness - you are proud of your work as a Sous Chef
Confident in managing people - you are capable and responsible and work with care
Experience in high quality kitchens, preferably with one or two Michelin star experience
A team player we thrive on communication and working with each other. Able to take instruction and help others
