SEMH TA: Prospero Teaching are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support young people with SEN & SEMH needs at a brilliant alternative provision in Preston. You will be supporting students who need additional support, and are disengaged with mainstream education. Often the students supported within the provision will have autism, ADHD, SEMH, or trauma, and are disengaged from mainstream education. You must have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours, preferably with de-escalation training. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, understanding and keen to support young people who need that little bit extra. You must be confident working on a 1-1 basis and be comfortable dealing with students who may display more complex or challenging behaviours.
