My client are looking for a passionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting autistic children and young people to develop their communication, independence, and life skills.
About the Role
Manage a specialist caseload of autistic pupils.
Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions Support and implement AAC systems and total communication approaches Collaborate with teachers, families, and professionals on EHCPs and learning plans Provide training and guidance to staff and parents Contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Qualifications Recognised Speech & Language Therapy qualification HCPC registration (essential)
Required Skills Experience working with children/young people with autism Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills A collaborative, empathetic, and proactive approach
