We have an immediate role (December start ideally) for a mechanical maintenance engineer We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliable operation, servicing, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment across our facilities. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, safety, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical plant, machinery, and building services equipment.
Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and parts usage.
Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high service standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and energy efficiency projects.
Requirements
Recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship.
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within building services, estates, or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, pumps, motors, and mechanical plant systems.
