Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate, driven Store Manager to lead our Notting Hill store.
This isn’t just retail. It’s leadership with purpose.
At The Source Bulk Foods, we’re redefining what a supermarket can be — plastic-free, community-focused and built around exceptional customer experience. If you’re an experienced leader who loves great food, thrives in high-performing teams and wants to make a genuine environmental impact, this is your opportunity.
We’re growing quickly across the UK, and this role offers real scope to develop both your career and your team.
The Role
As Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of store performance while building an engaged, motivated team that delivers an outstanding customer experience every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role. Our bulk food sacks can weigh up to 25kg, so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves alongside your team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring and developing your team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Creating a positive, high-performing and supportive store culture
- Driving sales and improving store performance
- Managing inventory to maintain quality while minimising waste
- Building strong relationships with local suppliers and the local community
- Identifying new opportunities to reduce environmental impact
- Delivering local area marketing initiatives
- Ensuring the store environment is welcoming, inspiring and fun
About You
You’re commercially aware, customer-focused and motivated by results — but you also care deeply about people and the planet.
You’ll bring:
- Previous management experience (retail or hospitality preferred)
- A strong track record of improving business performance
- Experience leading teams in customer-facing environments
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Physical capability to handle stock deliveries
- An interest in food, nutrition, sustainability or the zero-waste movement
Why Join The Source Bulk Foods?
We’re not just another retailer. We’re building something meaningful.
Founded in the UK by Mak and Pat, we’re creating a business that values fairness, transparency and genuine care for our team. We believe our people are the reason we succeed — and we invest in them accordingly.
We offer:
- A role with real purpose
- Health and dental insurance
- Staff discount across our full product range
- Discounted gym membership and additional benefits
- Pension scheme
- Bespoke training tailored to your development
- Clear opportunities for progression as we grow
If you’re ready to lead a business that’s shaping the future of food retail, we’d love to hear from you.
Please apply with your CV and cover letter.
