Overview
One of the most renowned Print & Packaging Groups is looking for an outstanding candidate to fill the most important position within the organisation. This £150m plus award-winning company needs someone who is innovative, and who can bring fresh ideas to the table, further improving its highly reputable image. The selected candidate will own and drive delivery of the business plan to maximise value for shareholders, while keeping in line with the company’s objectives. Working alongside the CFO and relevant Board Directors, you oversee the annual budgeting process; ensure appropriate governance systems are in place including financial and non-financial risk management; review and set appropriate KPIs to monitor and report business performance to stakeholders; and work with external advisers, including inter-alia financiers, bankers and lawyers.

They therefore need someone who has extensive experience working in a high-pressured environment – a natural entrepreneur who is personal and sustainable. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who can show a wealth of operational success at executive level and able to demonstrate tangible quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive delivery of the business plan to maximise value for shareholders, while aligning with the company’s objectives.
- Work alongside the CFO and relevant Board Directors; oversee the annual budgeting process; ensure governance systems are in place including financial and non-financial risk management; review and set appropriate KPIs to monitor and report business performance to stakeholders; and work with external advisers (including financiers, bankers and lawyers).
