18:45 Includes weekends (rota-based) Role Overview The Street Patrol Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the BID Street Patrol team, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for businesses, residents, and visitors within the Romford BID area. The role involves close collaboration with local businesses, stakeholders, and law enforcement. Requirements: Valid SIA Licence First Aid Certification Proven supervisory experience within the security sector Strong leadership and team management skills Experience working with or alongside police or community safety teams (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Key Responsibilities Supervise and support Street Patrol Officers on shift, ensuring high standards of professionalism and performance Plan and allocate patrol routes, ensuring effective coverage of the BID area Act as the main point of contact for incidents, escalating where necessary Liaise regularly with the police and partner agencies to address crime, anti-social behaviour, and community safety concerns Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrol logs, and intelligence reports Monitor CCTV (if applicable) and coordinate responses to incidents Desirable Background Previous experience in a Business Improvement District (BID) environment Knowledge of local policing or community safety frameworks Experience handling anti-social behaviour and conflict management
