Our client, a reputable civil infrastructure engineering consultancy, is seeking a Structural CAD Technician to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a few years’ experience who enjoys turning technical information into clear, accurate drawings.

The Role:
You’ll be producing structural drawings across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes. Working closely with engineers and project leads, you’ll take technical details, sketches, and calculations to create high-quality drawings ready for design approval and construction. 

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Prepare structural CAD drawings using AutoCAD (and/or Revit if applicable).
• Translate engineers’ sketches and mark-ups into accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure all drawings meet company and industry standards.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, and other team members to clarify design requirements.
• Maintain drawing files and document control.

About You:

• 
  
• A few years’ experience as a Structural or Civil CAD Technician.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial but not essential).
• Able to interpret engineering sketches and turn them into accurate drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
