We have a number of new and exciting opportunities at Iesis Structures in our Central London office. With a strong reputation across multiple sectors including residential, commercial, education, mixed-use and retail sectors, in both new build and complex refurbishment, we are recognised for combining technical excellence with proactive sustainable design so that structural solutions prove practical and cost-effective.

We are looking to strengthen our team with experienced Structural Engineers to help deliver complex and impactful projects, particularly within the residential and education sectors.



Role Overview

As a Structural Engineer, you will provide expert technical guidance and design solutions across a range of projects, ensuring client requirements are met from inception through to completion. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver practical, cost-effective structural solutions and coordinate design packages across all stages of the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team leaders to achieve monthly income targets.
  • Support the promotion of the consultancy’s structural engineering services.
  • Design practical and economically viable structural solutions in all common structural materials.
  • Manage project scopes, client briefs, cost planning and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, variations and financial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client and design team relationships.
  • Undertake structural surveys and produce detailed technical reports.
  • Contribute to fee proposals and support bids for new work.


Essential Experience and Skills

  • 3-5 years’ experience.
  • MEng or BEng degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Proficient in use of Tekla Design / Structural Designer software packages.
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Design experience using Eurocodes (concrete, steel, etc.)
  • Experience on projects with values ranging from £250k to £150m.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
