Youll support individuals on their recovery journey while developing specialist clinical skills in a secure, fast-paced setting.Youll deliver nurse-led clinical and psychosocial interventions to individuals with substance misuse needs. Working within a prison setting offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to health, recovery, and wellbeing.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete assessments and develop tailored care plansAdminister and monitor medication-assisted treatmentsWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and prison staffProvide health promotion and recovery-focused guidanceKeep accurate, compliant clinical recordsIdentify and manage safeguarding and risk concernsPerson SpecificationWere looking for someone who has:Registered Nurse (RN) status with a valid NMC PINAt least 1-year post-registration experienceExperience or a strong interest in substance misuse careExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience in prison or secure settings DesirableKnowledge of substance misuse protocols and harm reduction - DesirableAdditional training in mental health or substance misuse - DesirableIf youre ready to use your nursing skills where they can create real change, wed love to hear from you.
