£41 per hour (Umbrella) | £30.64 PAYE
35 hours per week (4.5 days)
Contract until Dec 2026 (Potential Extension)
We’re currently recruiting for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager to join a leading global aerospace programme, working onsite at a major UK engineering facility in Derby.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing supplier performance, driving quality improvements, and supporting critical manufacturing and supply chain operations within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
* Monitor and manage supplier performance
* Conduct load, capacity, and rate readiness analysis
* Support supply chain intelligence and risk mitigation
* Lead transfer of work and industrialisation of design changes
Quality Management
* Manage non-conformities and drive root cause resolution
* Implement APQP and supplier quality improvement plans (SQIP)
* Support continuous improvement across the supply base
Risk & Project Management
* Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks
* Support governance and reporting activities
* Contribute to project delivery and recovery planning
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in supply chain and quality within aerospace, manufacturing, or automotive
* Experience with APQP, non-conformance, and supplier quality processes
* Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills
* Ability to analyse data and provide clear, concise reporting
* Practical problem solver with experience in crisis/recovery environments
* Exposure to project management principles
Previous experience with major OEMs is highly desirable.

* Location: Fully onsite in Derby
* Security Clearance: BPSS (processed by client)
* IR35: Off-payroll rules apply
* Interview: Single-stage, likely onsite
