Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers to support young people and adults in our community with Autism and mental health needs. The successful candidates will play a vital role in fostering positive development, providing mentorship, and creating a safe environment for our service users. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of the people we support and their families. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of our service users Provide mentorship and guidance to support personal growth and behavioural development Assist with organising sessions that will benefit our service users to develop their Social, Emotional and Mental Wellbeing. Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all service users Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the well-being of our service users Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents or concerns. Develop and follow person centred care plans. Be a strong team player. Requirements Experience working with children, young people or adults. Strong understanding of neurodiversity and mental health conditions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young people and adults from diverse backgrounds Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting positive development Relevant qualifications or training in youth work, teaching, or related fields are advantageous Ability to undertake safeguarding training and adhere to child protection policies This is an essential car driver position Ability to travel in and around all areas the company covers Willingness to work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends Desired Qualities: Compassionate and empathetic approach Reliability and resilience A positive attitude and proactive mindset Commitment to empowering others and promoting independence Able to write reports and personal journeys to a high standard.
