We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our specialist home in Rixton, Warrington,?to provide high-quality care and life-enriching opportunities to the people we support.
Our?Children's home, Brunel Warrington?has contributed to helping a number of children aged 7-18 years old make significant progress and get the best out of life.
The children within the home complete activities as individuals and as a group. These activities include gymnastic clubs, swimming, cinemas, arcades, bowling, trips to local park and beaches as well as day trips to funfairs and waterparks.?
As a Support Worker, you will be a key part of their day to day support team, actively valuing and amplifying what matters to them, empowering their communication and independence, planning fulfilling activities. You will also keep records of their needs, support provided and progress.
You will help to create a warm, stimulating environment whilst working a mix of day shifts and sleeps to meet individual needs.
You'll do more than provide care – you'll be a mentor, advocate, and source of encouragement, helping the people you support to achieve their own individual outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs
Build trusting relationships and support emotional and behavioural needs using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, and household tasks
Promote independence and choice, encouraging the people we support to make their own decisions wherever possible
Support with day-to-day activities to ensure the people we support make the most of every opportunity
What we're looking for
Level 3 diploma in residential childcare, or be willing to work towards 4
Passionate about person-centred care
Resilient and tenacious
Positive and proactive
Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Experience in care is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous.

Salary & Benefits
£29,361.34 - £34,040.90v?(based on experience and 1 sleep-in per week)
