Sustainability Coordinator
Doves Farm Foods Ltd is a successful, award-winning, family-owned food business, specialising in artisan, organic and free from flours and foods. It operates a portfolio of loved, market leading brands including Doves Farm, FREEE and Wessex Mill.
This sustainability role will build on all the sustainability work completed and bring this together to provide a clear sustainability site status and future targets. This is a new role to provide coordination and collation of all the metrics.
The role will also provide support for the technical team
The role is office based 20 hours a week on our site 3 miles outside Hungerford in the beautiful North Wessex Downs.
TEAM
The role will be part of the Doves Farm Foods technical team and reports to the Head of Technical and Compliance. It will work closely with the rest of the business to collect data as required and compile sustainability reports to show site compliance to ESG.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create and communicate a comprehensive sustainability strategy and align with business objectives
* Establish measurable goals and set targets to track sustainability progress
* Collect, analyse and report data for environmental, social and governance areas
* Coordinate and manage sustainability projects
* Prepare reports on sustainability progress
* Keep updated on environmental regulations to ensure compliance
* Support Technical Administrator with complaint investigations
* Prepare samples for sending for laboratory analysis
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* You are an excellent communicator with strong meeting facilitation skills.
* You take the initiative, solve problems effectively, and are happy to get stuck in and be hands on.
* You are very well organised and pay attention to detail whilst managing a busy and varied agenda.
* You have excellent IT skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office or similar.
* A passion for environmental / sustainability improvement is essential
