The role includes liaising with project offices, defining equipment specifications, supporting trials, and ensuring all work meets project specifications and security requirements. Some travel to customer sites and flexibility for MoD/Gov support duties will be required.HSB Technicals client is an established and well-regarded business entity.Duties and responsibilities of the Systems Engineer (MoD/Gov):Design and configure systems for MoD/Gov projects in accordance with project specificationsLiaise with project offices to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assigned workTest, verify, and evaluate new systems and software buildsDefine equipment lists, specifications, and IP structures for new projectsProvide technical documentation, drawings, and configuration details for each projectConduct site visits in support of installation, commissioning, and trialsSupport customer meetings, providing technical expertise and solutionsContribute to technical proposals and provide training for new systemsAct as part of the Duty MoD/Gov engineer rota as requiredEnsure all work adheres to company and security policies Qualifications and requirements for the Systems Engineer (MoD/Gov):Must hold, or have the ability to obtain, DV (Developed Vetting) Security ClearanceMinimum degree-level qualification in an engineering, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)Broad ICT and/or satellite communications experience is desirableCisco CCNA (or equivalent network qualification) preferredExcellent communication and time management skillsFlexible, proactive, and capable of working independentlyFull UK driving licence This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd, who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role.TPBN1_UKTJ
