Systems Service Engineer (Security & Network)

retail, commercial, and public sector environments

, ensuring systems operate reliably and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Service, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and installation of security and network systems Installation and maintenance of

structured cabling systems

(Cat5e, Cat6, and Fibre) Servicing and supporting

IP CCTV systems Installation and maintenance of

Access Control and Door Entry systems Commissioning and configuration of

networked security systems Diagnosing and resolving faults across

integrated IP-based environments Working on client sites across retail, commercial, and public sector sectors Requirements Proven experience in a similar

security systems or network engineering role Strong knowledge of

structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Fibre) Experience with

IP CCTV, access control, and door entry systems Ability to diagnose faults across

networked/IP security systems Good understanding of networking fundamentals Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Full UK driving licence
