Tax Compliance & Reporting - Junior Director Base pay range: £105,000 - £115,000 plus target 30-35% bonus and benefits. Salary details and the role are provided by Trident International Associates; actual pay will be based on skills and experience. This is a Senior Tax Manager / Junior Tax Director opportunity focused on stepping up to Director - Tax Compliance & Reporting for Global Real Estate. Our Client is a global real estate investment and advisory business with a long-term, patient-capital approach. It maintains an international footprint and partnerships with institutional capital to deliver sustainable, long-term value for investors, tenants, and communities. The Role This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Director, Tax Compliance & Reporting to join a small London-based team and take ownership of UK and international (non-US) tax compliance and related matters across the group and its managed portfolio across multiple jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include:
Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisors, lead audits, and collaborate with internal finance teams to support quarterly close and year-end processes. Oversee global transfer pricing, governance of asset-holding entities, and continuous improvement of tax systems and processes. Direct strategy, compliance, and documentation for Global Transfer Pricing in collaboration with the parent company. Govern asset-holding SPVs to ensure tax efficiency and compliance. Oversee and review external advisors, lead tax audits, manage global transfer pricing, and support quarterly close and year-end processes, including Pillar II requirements. Collaborate with investment, finance, and legal teams as a trusted business partner on complex cross-border tax issues. Lead tax structuring and due diligence for acquisitions, disposals, and internal reorganisations (targeting approximately three per year). Line management responsibility for a small team, contributing to governance and continuous improvement of tax systems and processes.
The Person You will be a seasoned tax professional with strong international experience, ideally within real estate, investment, or asset management environments. Key requirements include:
10+ years’ relevant tax experience ATT or CTA qualification (preferred) Strong technical knowledge across UK and international tax Experience managing multi-jurisdictional compliance and external advisors Exposure to transfer pricing, structuring, and transactional tax Ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders across finance, legal, and investment teams Comfortable operating within a global business with flexibility for international calls
