Overview

A growing accountancy practice based in Taunton has a requirement for a Tax Director to join their firm as a key higher-level addition with opportunity to grow, lead and develop this firm’s tax compliance and tax advisory service lines, with a clear path to progress in your career.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance and take a lead on the provision of complex tax planning and advisory service delivery across a wide spectrum of personal, corporate, or mixed tax planning, moulded to suit around the career background and areas of expertise of the right professional.
• Mentor, lead and grow the tax team, driving further growth and development of tax services in the firm.
• Work closely with the firm’s leadership team to shape and develop tax offerings and departments.

Profile / Qualifications

• Tax Director level (or close, similar level) with ACA / ACCA / CTA / ATT / STEP or equivalent tax-focused qualification.
• Specialised across any area of corporate, personal, or mixed tax with a track record delivering tax compliance and advisory services.
• Experience within Top Tier, Mid-Tier/Top 50, or large, medium, or small independent accountancy practice backgrounds.
• Seeking a challenging career opportunity with a clear route to progression within a leading firm of accountants.

Job Offer

• £60,000 - £80,000 + dependent on experience, background and level of the right professional, negotiable.
